However, the seed of his desire to help those who need a hand up in life was planted when he had a religious experience during high school. Dr. Taylor, originally from Nashville, had just finished medical school at University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Alabama Medical Center. |

| Hanna and Spencer Carpenter had wanted a corgi for a long time. They found someone in Florida who lived close to their vacation home who had one available. The couple picked Oscar up in March 2022, and he’s been living his best life on their farm ever since. Corgis are excellent farm dogs, as they were originally bred for cattle herding. |
