On July 10th at the Stones River Chapter (Sons of the American Revolution), Jack McElwain was recognized by the Sons of the American Revolution, the BSA Trail of Tears District, and the State of Tennessee for his longtime service to the Scouting community. During the meeting, BSA Field Director, Phillip Heikkinen, shared how McElwain’s work and philanthropy resulted in the Stones River Chapter receiving the Robert E. Prytula Award. |

Lee Allsbrook inspired decades of children who attended Campus School through physical fitness and life lessons as he offered his unique perspective on how to get kids to be active. Kids were less likely to be seen playing kickball under his watch, and more likely to be popping a wheelie on a skateboard, riding a unicycle or square-dancing. |

Kit put the design skills she began developing while the family was living in Chattanooga to work after she and her husband, Chuck, purchased their current Murfreesboro home at auction in 2009. |

Ascension Saint Thomas once again demonstrated its commitment to compassionate, community-centered care by hosting its annual Medical Mission at Home on May 3 at the Nashville Fairgrounds. The event, now a Middle Tennessee tradition, brought together more than 950 volunteers—including 650 Ascension Saint Thomas associates and 300 community partner volunteers—to provide free healthcare services to more than 860 patients from Davidson and surrounding counties. |
