Mainstreet Jazz Fest planned for May 1

The Main Street JazzFest is scheduled for Saturday, May 1, on the historic downtown square. Featuring middle and high school jazz bands from across Rutherford County, the MTSU jazz band, and ending with Music City Swing this day will be a fun, family friendly gathering outside for all music lovers. Food vendors will be set up around the courthouse. A special children’s program will be organized through The Discovery Center called “Shake, Rattle and Roll” teaching hands on music fun for preschool aged children through young elementary.

Shops will be open to visit and restaurants ready to serve the many guests downtown! For more information on how to sponsor JazzFest and help partner with Main Street Murfreesboro, please contact Sarah Callender at [email protected].
