On September 14, Isaiah 117 House Rutherford hosted its annual golf tournament at Champions Run Golf Club. The sold-out event welcomed 32 teams and numerous sponsors for a day of competition, community and generosity.

This year’s title sponsors were McGuire Restaurant Group and MAD Fireworks. Participants enjoyed a sunrise breakfast provided by McGuire Restaurant Group, lunch from the grill and desserts donated by Julia’s Bakery and Bart’s Kitchen, along with treats prepared by Isaiah 117 House volunteers.

Prizes were awarded to first-, second-, and third-place teams in two flights, with additional contests throughout the day. Highlights included closest-to-the-pin competitions and an impressive hole-in-one by Tony McGuire. Partner sponsor Redstone Federal Credit Union also hosted a putting contest featuring a Turtlebox speaker as the grand prize. Players had the opportunity to win a variety of door prizes generously donated by local community supporters.

The event was a tremendous success, raising nearly $25,000 to support the mission of Isaiah 117 House Rutherford. The nonprofit provides physical and emotional support in a safe, loving home environment for children awaiting foster care placement.
