Editor's Letter

Sunshine, blue skies and warmth . . . hello, May! What a fabulous month to transition from spring into summer, yet always packed full of fun and events. Whether it’s Mother’s Day, the end of a school year, graduation or Memorial Day, it’s a great time to celebrate, show appreciation and get outside and enjoy life!

It’s no secret that Murfreesboro is a popular place to live, and our locally owned businesses play a major role in that attraction. Our May issue features 25 local business owners and leaders who make a major impact for the quality of life here. We love learning about people in our community, sharing their stories and learning ways we can all support local businesses. Peruse through their profiles and find yourself a new place to visit!

Our VIP event photographers are staying busy as we covered close to 30 events this month including community festivals, recognition events and nonprofit fundraisers. There was so much to see and do, which will continue all spring and summer long. If you want to have us cover your upcoming event please request event coverage on our website at www.vipmurfreesboro.com.

As always, thank you for being a loyal reader and allowing us to provide Murfreesboro’s must-have resource for all the good news our great town has to offer.
