Foundation Director Gina DeJean, with her staff and numerous volunteers, coordinated the 14th annual Wine Around the Square. Sponsors convened at Whiskey Dix for a pre-event gathering featuring appetizers and beverages. Patty Marschel, one of the founding members of the event and long-serving board member, was the honoree. After the initial reception, sponsors joined other guests in strolling around the square, visiting local businesses that hosted various vendors. The Alley on Main and The Clay Pit catered the dinner, complemented by desserts from O’Flow Desserts. The Patels, owners of Stones River Total Beverages, made this popular party possible by supplying a diverse selection of wines and spirits.

Proceeds from Wine Around the Square support The Power of Pink, the county’s leading initiative in combating breast cancer. POP delivers critical awareness, education and diagnostic services to those most in need within the community.
