Air Evac Lifeteam and Ascension Saint Thomas to Introduce Newest Medical Helicopter to Rutherford County

Air Evac Lifeteam and Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital today announced plans to provide a dedicated medical helicopter to Rutherford County. The Ascension Saint Thomas StatFlight-branded BELL 407GXi helicopter, operated by Air Evac Lifeteam, will provide emergency air medical coverage to Rutherford County and surrounding communities.

A time for every purpose, and a cool evening was a time for celebration at Greenhouse Ministries. Tours of their new 25,000 square foot classroom, counseling and life skills training facility at 307 S. Academy Street were enjoyed by many.

Sally and Paul Boklage had been looking for a place to downsize from their house on three acres just outside of Green Hills in Nashville. While Sally was ready to move back home to Murfreesboro, Paul had never lived in such a small town. He is a Wichita, Kansas transplant.

Noon Exchange Club Names Jonathan Pope Officer of the Year

Murfreesboro Police Department (MPD) Field Training Officer Johnathan Pope has been named, ‘Officer of the Year,’ by the Noon Exchange Club of Murfreesboro. Exchange Club president Brian Hongsermeier presented Pope with the award at Through the Grapevine on Broadmor St. Wednesday, Oct. 20.

Community Can Show Support For Vanderbilt University Medical Center to Build Rutherford Co. Hospital

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is strengthening its commitment to serve the healthcare needs of the citizens of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County. The facility, to be called Vanderbilt Rutherford Hospital, will be constructed on property owned by VUMC located at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and S.R. 840 with a projected cost of $144,276,600.
