More than $260,000 raised at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation's 11th Annual Wine Around the Square Event

The Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation is thrilled to announce they raised $263,253 at their 11th annual Wine Around the Square event. This annual event took place on Saturday, October 22, in the historic Downtown Square in Murfreesboro to honor Drs. Mary and Max Moss and to raise funds for the Power of Pink, Rutherford County’s premier fundraising program for breast cancer detection and treatment.

Drs. Mary and Max Moss, who both recently retired, spent nearly 30 years dedicating their careers to breast health and cancer detection. Dr. Mary Moss served as an OBGYN with Advanced Women’s Care, and Dr. Max Moss as a radiologist with Premier Radiology. The Ascension Saint Thomas Foundation honored and celebrated the tremendous ways they have impacted breast health in the lives of Rutherford county women.

"Thank you to Stones River Total Beverage for providing all the alcohol for this event, the 22 downtown businesses that opened as tasting venue host sites, our presenting sponsor, Nissan, all of our other supporting sponsors, and our 120 generous volunteers and events committee,” said Gina DeJean, Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Foundation Director. “Every individual and organization made this event a memorable one. We look forward to seeing you next year!”
