Following a brief shower prior to the start of the event, the skies cleared and a substantial number of guests gathered in the elegant backyard of Ann Elizabeth and Rich Rucker for the annual Charity Circle Summer Supper. The menu, a well-established tradition, featured fried chicken, corn and green bean casseroles, sliced tomatoes, homemade rolls and desserts. This selection is highly anticipated by attendees each year and continues to be enjoyed, with dishes prepared by members of Charity Circle who host the gathering.

As with all “Caroling Parties,” every donation collected during this event is directed entirely to local charities. Charity Circle hostesses cover all expenses associated with each party, ensuring that contributions go directly toward benefiting the community. The next Charity Circle party is scheduled for September 12.
