The Board of Directors of Special Kids recently hosted a Taste & See at Five Senses Restaurant in Murfreesboro, bringing together friends, families and supporters to celebrate the organization’s impact in the community. Kandra Benton shared a heartfelt testimonial about the difference Special Kids has made for her family, while Andrew Farrer of Farrer Construction spoke about the facilities his team renovated. He went on to encourage everyone to support Specials Kids through giving of their time or financially supporting the organization.
Special Kids is a Christian therapy and nursing center serving children with special needs from birth through age 21. Each day, children reach meaningful milestones, from taking first steps to learning to speak or write. Special Kids provides speech, physical, occupational and feeding therapies, along with skilled nursing services and a summer day camp for children with developmental delays and those who are medically fragile.
