The Secret Garden Party, benefiting The Discovery Center, was a wonderful evening with sponsors arriving early for a cocktail reception inside the beautiful home of hosts Amanda and Senator Shane Reeves, enjoying passed appetizers and their beverage of choice. Later, they joined other guests at poolside for more mingling before savoring a buffet dinner under a spacious tent. 

Chairs Anna Kate Arrowood and Turner Wilson warmly welcomed everyone and introduced CEO Tara MacDougall, who shared the stage with Claire Coleman. Coleman’s heartfelt story about her son’s transformative experience at Discovery Center moved the entire crowd. Auctioneer Mimi Genet energized the guests with a spirited auction, followed by a compelling call for support from Board member Paul Seegert, who made the first pledge. The evening raised vital funds to support the continued excellence of the Discovery Center - a true gem in our community.
