The rain stayed away as numerous Ambassadors members and guests gathered at the beautiful Riverbend Cove residence of Ashley and Mayor Shane McFarland, for the annual Margaritas in May event. Attendees were offered margaritas and a selection of other beverages, enjoyed appetizers and visited with friends. The event was organized by Dana Lyons and Anita Pirtle.

Proceeds from the gathering will benefit the Dr. Jim Boerner Nursery-Pediatric Fund and the 3rd Floor OB Expansion Project—Delivering a Legacy of Care. ASTR is updating their Women's and Obstetric Services to create a welcoming, state-of-the-art environment that elevates every aspect of the birthing experience. Ambassadors are open to new members and host Lunch & Learn sessions throughout the year, featuring various hospital specialists. These sessions are free for members.
