STORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY JOYCE TAYLOR

At the annual Margaritas in May, the weather was perfect and the setting was even more perfect, on the beautiful back porch and yard of the Mirabella home of Emily and John Keach. A large group of members and potential members of Ambassadors gathered to enjoy Mexican food and drinks while visiting with friends and meeting new ones. Betsy Hopkins, charge nurse for

the NICU unit at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford (ASTR), was introduced by Ambassadors President Pam Jones and gave updates on the work of the NICU unit and the impact of donations made by Ambassadors. Funds raised from ticket sales for this event will support the Dr. Jim Boerner Nursery-Pediatric Fund and the Lee and Susan Moss Family NICU. It’s not too late to join Ambassadors and make a meaningful difference in the lives of families in our community. For more information, contact Foundation Director Gina DeJean at [email protected].
