Wine on the Vernanda

Story and photography by Cynthialynn Jones

The Sam Davis Home hosted the annual Wine on the Veranda to raise funds and bring awareness to the community of Smyrna, Tennessee and surrounding areas the depth of history available in the local area. The home opened the large gates and welcomed an estimated 200 guests to one of the most tended Civil War Historical attractions in Middle Tennessee.

Guests were treated to delicious savory delectables by local restaurants, bistros, franchises, wineries, distilleries and the very generous Patel family of Stones River Total Beverage in Murfreesboro.
