Dana Womack is a Murfreesboro native who describes herself as “an asset protector and a dream maker.” As a State Farm Insurance Agent, she has helped countless people protect their most valuable assets: their homes, their vehicles, and most importantly, their lives. “Most people do not want to think about their insurance until they need it,” she said. “My job is to make sure you know what you have before you need it, and discover gaps and potential exposures.”

Womack truly enjoys her job. “Insurance is EXCITING!” she said. “I enjoy talking about how I can protect you and your family from risk. Death, injury, and illness are my biggest competitors, and I want to make sure I have a conversation with you before my competition does. I am heartbroken to see a family go through any kind of hardship, but when I can help them recover from the hardship, I know I have done what I was here to do.”

Apart from her work at State Farm, Womack also serves as board member of several local nonprofit organizations, including Rutherford Cable, Blue Raider Athletic Association, and Junior Achievement of Rutherford County. As she explained, “All of these associations allow me to get engaged in the community and give back, either through food drives, financial literacy programs, or scholarships.”
