Choice Media & Communications Adds New Associate Publicist and Executive Assistant to Team

Coming off of an exciting and growth-filled 2018, Choice Media & Communications is thrilled to begin the New Year with the addition of Summer Clarkson as associate publicist and Lena Hall as executive assistant, effective immediately.

Summer Clarkson first joined Choice as a Publicity Assistant before her promotion to Associate Publicist. She is a graduate of Auburn University. Prior to joining Choice, Clarkson was with Fort Myers-based MCreativePR, and this position gave her proactive experience with media relations, event planning, and publicity. Clarkson immediately gravitated towards Choice because of the women challenging her to be the best version of herself and their ability to help develop and enhance her strengths. A Nashville resident, Clarkson enjoys riding and spending time with her horse, Eli, and exploring her new city.

“Summer Clarkson has this quiet, unassuming way about her that draws you in and then she knocks you over with her work ethic and execution,” said Heather Adams, founder of Choice.

“The transition from Choice publicity assistant to associate publicist has been seamless because Summer is conscientious. I’ve watched her determine she wanted something and then drive toward that goal until it was hers. Now that’s someone I want on my team! I can’t wait to watch all that she accomplishes.”

Lena Hall joins Choice from her recent role as a Senior Trunk Keeper for Matilda Jane Clothing, where she helped spread Matilda Jane’s mission of “keeping little girls little” all over Middle Tennessee. Hall brings a unique perspective to Choice as she has also served as an Executive Assistant to several Directors within the Bureau of TennCare for the State of Tennessee, as well as the Latitude 36 Staffing Firm. A graduate of Middle Tennessee State University,

Hall holds a degree in journalism, with an emphasis in public relations. Hall resides in Murfreesboro with her husband and three daughters. “I’ve known Lena Hall for more than a decade. Our lives have intertwined on so many occasions since then and what I’ve always admired is her ability to disarm and determine how she can best immediately serve. Her organizational wizardry is matched by her kindness and compassion. I am honored to have her join our all-female team at Choice. We are all the better because she is here,” said Adams.
