     The annual Charity Circle Tailgate Party was held under ideal weather conditions, expertly coordinated by Lindsey Jennings and Kristen Finney. The event took place in Mary and Tim White’s backyard, located on the Stones River Country Club golf course, which is set to reopen soon—an exceptional venue for this well-attended gathering. Guests arrived dressed in their team colors and enjoyed an array of cocktails and appetizers. The customary barbecue meal, featuring baked beans, coleslaw, chips and desserts prepared by the hostesses, was well received.

     Party hostesses personally cover all expenses associated with each “caroling” party to ensure that every donation benefits local charities directly. Originally beginning as neighborhood caroling events in December, these gatherings have expanded to include several parties throughout the year. The next event, Cocktails at Copper Ridge, will be on October 16.
