The 13th Annual Special Kids Race, presented b Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, was another huge success this year. The rain held off long enough to welcome thousands of runners who left the campus of MMC and followed the historic route around and through the Stones River National Battlefield.

The Special Kids Race exists to bring awareness and financial support to the ministry of Specia Kids. This Christian nonprofit provides therapy and nursing services to children with special needs in Middle Tennessee. Through the Special Kids Race, participants support the organization by registering to run or walk the 15K, 10K, 5K or 1 Mile distances, and by having the option to fundraise for Special Kids.
