Welcome to the November edition of VIP Magazine! Fall is an amazing time here in Middle Tennessee. We are fortunate in this area to have moderate summers, mild winters and beautiful springs. But, with the spectacle of colors, the cool, crisp air and no shortage of community events, Autumn is hands-down the greatest season in Murfreesboro!

This issue of VIP Murfreesboro is chocked-full of so many amazing celebrations from traditional Fall gatherings, like Harvest Days at Cannonsburgh Village and Hitmakers & Harleys at Bumpus Harley Davidson to relatively newer events like Barks & Bourbon and Project ReStyle at Liberty Station. I’ve often said, if you’re bored in Murfreesboro… you’re just not looking hard enough, because there is something for everyone.

There are also a ton of great fundraisers and community events coming up in the next few weeks. Some of our favorites include the Special Kids Golf Tournament at Cedar Crest, Business After Hours at Nourish Food Bank and, of course, the Murfreesboro Tree Lighting coming up on December 1st.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. For the past several years, my family has participated in BoroDash that morning, followed by fried turkey and my brother’s world-famous frozen chocolate pie with graham cracker crust.
