Story and photography by Eric Lusk

Purple Paws’ 5th Annual Mardi Paws Animal Gala was recently held at the Grove at Williamson Place. Guests were welcomed with wine, beer and cocktails, followed by a buffet dinner provided by Puckett’s. Activities included Missy Lay’s Wild Goose Chase Scavenger Hunt, a Cigar Lounge and a wine pull (with a $20 ticket purchase, ticket holders won a bottle of wine that might be worth $50) . Guests danced the night away to the tunes provided by Mid-South Mobile DJ’s and even got the chance to have fun in the free photo booth!

Purple Paws is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to assist certified domestic, non-domestic and service animal charities throughout Rutherford County. Part of their mission is to educate the public of the importance of spaying/neutering companion animals.
