The Junior League of Murfreesboro’s long awaited INPERSON annual dinner recently took place at Copper Ridge on Betty Ford Road. Members were able to finally reunite for an evening of food, fun and fellowship. Recent Rockvale High School graduate, Darby Kinnie and her parents were on hand to receive JLM’s Horizon Scholarship, given to an area high school senior who exhibits strong leadership through exemplary volunteerism in her school, church and/or community.

The Junior League of Murfreesboro is an organization of women in Rutherford County committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Their purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. They are a diverse group of women, building a better community through a commitment to advocacy, leadership, multiculturalism and a commitment to children.
