July Birthday Gift Wrapping

Story and photography by Eric Lusk

A Soldier’s Child Foundation was established to stand by the children of the military men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while protecting our lives and our country’s freedom. The organization helps provide birthday celebrations, mentorship programs and college scholarships to the kids of fallen military personnel.

Brad Allen and Venture Express Trucking in LaVergne helped sponsor the most recent gift wrapping event at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. Hundreds of volunteers, young and old, gathered to wrap, box and decorate gifts to be given to kids in the foundation.
