There’s something totally awesome about summer! Life is in full swing. Energy & vitality is abundant. Vacations, longer daylight, wildflowers, beaches, exotic drinks, picnics, movies in the park, ice cream, festivals, twinkle lights and fireworks. This is the time to try something new you have never tried before.

When you consider trying that something new, check out our calendars to find a plethora of things to do, see and join! You can see all the fun and fulfillment to be had by flipping
through the multitude of pages of event coverage this issue holds. From Bayou themed dinners to fun pet filled activities, there is certainly something for everyone!

Speaking of pets, our VIPets issue is ready to share stories of local pets, as well as share lots of local resources that are right here and ready to treat your special family members. Inside you will also get to know many of our local Insurance experts as they help you understand many aspects of coverage, from standard car and home insurance to protect your personal items to investing in life insurance to protect your finances. We hope that you will be able to use these resources for many months to come!

As a reminder, this issue will be on the stands for both June and July. We are excited to be
working on a jam-packed Health and Beauty issue for you in August. Enjoy your summer, sit back, relax, and become refreshed! As always, let us know if you have ideas or event submissions. Visit to contact us, or even to purchase event pictures.
