The folks at MMC Comprehensive Breast Center sure know how to make breast cancer survivors feel special! Survivors were invited to The View at the Fountains for a morning of bonding while attending various breakout sessions. Sessions included Stress Management through Painting (Board & Brush), Skincare & Makeup (MMC Kattine Aesthetics), Healthy Cooking (Steakhouse Five), Self Defense (Krav Maga) and Leaving a Legacy (Trail Coleman & Stearns). While enjoying lunch, Karen Mills entertained the crowd with humorous stories. There were door prizes and samples to take away from this free event.

The Comprehensive Breast Center of MMC was born out of their desire to help women navigate the complex arena of breast cancer and combine resources to help patients towards breast health. They are comprised of caring physicians who specialize in Radiology, General Surgery and Plastic Surgery.

Enjoy the bounty of the season: vine-ripened tomatoes, ripe melon, sweet corn on the cob, and blueberries are just a few of my favorites. Luckily for us, Murfreesboro is blessed with one of the finest Farmer’s Markets in the state where we can do just that! Nothing screams summer better than a homecooked meal of fresh fruits and vegetables, locally grown and sold. Read More
  • Garage Barre + Bike

You may have noticed the corner of Church St and Vine St on Murfreesboro’s downtown square looks a little different.
