The sixth annual Barks and Bourbon event was held on the scenic property of Howard and Susan Wilson, bringing together bourbon enthusiasts and their canine companions for an enjoyable evening. Fifteen different distillers offered tastings of a variety of spirits while sharing interesting information about their origins and the processes used to make them. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction featuring several varieties of whiskey and bourbon, along with a special “Winemaker for a Day” workshop. Several patrons brought their beloved dogs along to enjoy the festivities.

The annual event raises much-needed funds for the Jesse C. Beesley Animal Humane Foundation. The organization educates pet owners about creating safe, healthy environments and provides information to help keep pets happy and well cared for. The Beesley Foundation also offers low-cost spay and neuter services to help reduce pet overpopulation.
