10 Years of Moving Forward Rutherford Cable

Story and photography by Joyce Taylor

After breakfast at Stones River Country Club sponsored by Redstone Federal Credit Union, members networked at their table, each explaining their jobs, giving others a chance to hear about their services. Veronica Terrell moderated a panel discussion with Terri Donovan, Tammy Neal, Deborah Roberts, Gena Dix and Wendy Tompkins, reflecting on the beginnings of Rutherford Cable 10 years ago and how it has impacted their lives personally and professionally.

The panel related how their connections with other Cable members had brought customers to their businesses, thus promoting their careers. RUTHERFORD Cable was formed in 2009 to help women widen their professional and personal circles and connect with greater business opportunities. They have over 250 members and encourage others to join (including men).
