1st Annual Howard's Hope Flying Fish Benefit Concert

Murfreesboro Aviation Hanger - 1936 Memorial Boulevard, Murfreesboro

On Saturday evening, September 17, 2016, Howard’s Hope will hold a benefit concert to support the organization’s Flying Fish program. The Flying Fish program provides the opportunity for disadvantaged children in Middle Tennessee to learn the life-saving skill of swimming. Currently, the Flying Fish program is available in Rutherford, Bedford, Coffee, and Franklin counties.  Music will be provided by two well-known Middle Tennessee bands.

First up will be Rockslide, a hard-charging group with Jeff Woods on lead vocals. Rockslide will perform great songs that all will know and love, including hits ranging from the 60’s to today, with an emphasis on classic rock and rhythm and blues.

Following Rockslide, get ready for some great funk, blues, rock, and soul because Mosaic Rhythm will take the stage. This power packed band, with members who have played with such notables as Michael McDonald and Atlanta Rhythm Section, will perform a playlist of hit songs, along with originals written by Mosaic Rhythm’s David Hartful.

Rockslide and Mosaic Rhythm bring energy, passion, and the ability to keep you on the edge of your seat or on the dance floor! The combination of these two high-voltage bands playing the same venue, on the same night, will make for an unforgettable experience!

Not only will there be great dance music; food and beverages will also be available. Additionally, door prizes will be awarded and a silent auction will be held with items ranging from airline tickets to sports memorabilia up for bid.

Doors open at 5:30 PM. For more information on the Flying Fish program and to purchase concert tickets, visit
