Wine Tasting Dinner

Story and photography by Eric Lusk

On the first Monday of every month The Alley on Main hosts an evening of food, wine and community as supporters gather for a great cause. This past month, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was the benefactor of the Alley’s fundraising efforts. Passionate activists John and Becca Goodwin, whose daughter, Madelynn, is fighting the disease, spearheaded the efforts on behalf of the foundation, inviting family and friends to join them for a wonderful evening of food, fun and fellowship. In the end, the night raised over $600 for Cystic Fibrosis!

Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited disorder that causes severe damage to the lungs, digestive system and other organs in the body, mostly affecting the cells that produce mucus, sweat and digestive juices. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is the world’s leader in the search for a cure for cystic fibrosis.
