Interfaith Dental Hosts "Dental Mission Day (DMD) With Operation Stand Down and Centerstone

Interfaith Dental recently partnered with Operation Stand Down and Centerstone to bring its second “DMD – Dental Mission Day” serving Veterans in Middle Tennessee.

On November 3rd, Interfaith staff came together with more than 40 volunteers and dental residents to provide a day of dental care for veterans. Over $25,000 in market value dental care was provided during the event.

Many patients were pre-screened before the event, and several patients will be returning to the clinic for follow-up care. Interfaith has plans for additional Dental Mission Days throughout the year.

“Volunteers make these Dental Mission Days possible, and we can’t thank them enough for executing such meaningful days of care for these deserving patients. You watch patients come through the doors, sometimes in extreme pain and feeling down-and-out, and we see them leave smiling and grateful for the opportunity to receive care – and the volunteers make that happen.  It’s a great day to be a part of,” Interfaith Dental CEO, Dr. Rhonda Switzer-Nadasdi said.
