On a bright and breezy Friday morning, The Child Advocacy Center celebrated Child Abuse Prevention Month with the Third Annual Hometown Heroes Walk for Children. Walkers gathered
at Murfreesboro Civic Plaza, downtown on the square.

“The Child Advocacy Center is grateful to all of the Hometown Heroes businesses, civic groups, women’s groups, churches, and individuals who partnered with us to support this event,” said
Child Advocacy Center Director Sharon De Boer.

The mission of the Child Advocacy Center is to serve victims of child abuse, child sexual abuse, and drug endangered children along with their non-offending parents and family members. For
