Despite the scorching weather, guests enjoyed mingling outdoors at the beautifully renovated home of Collier and Fant Smith during the annual Charity Circle Summer Supper, chaired by Kristin Salter and Frances Hogue. The traditional menu featured fried chicken, corn and green bean casseroles, sliced tomatoes, homemade rolls and desserts. These favorite dishes were prepared by the Charity Circle members who hosted the gathering.

As with all “Caroling Parties,” every donation collected during this event is directed entirely to local charities. Charity Circle hostesses cover all expenses associated with each party, ensuring that contributions go directly toward benefiting the community. The next Charity Circle party is the popular Tailgate Party, scheduled for September 11 at the home of Mary and Tim White. Wear your team colors and plan to attend.
