Supporters of The Discovery Center gathered at Susan and Howard Wilson’s Belle Meadows Farm, where they were welcomed with specialty cocktails and passed appetizers. Guests visited with friends, enjoyed drinks and browsed auction items before sitting down to a buffet dinner by Five Senses under a spacious tent.

Chairs Anna Kate Arrowood and Bethany Pennington welcomed guests and introduced CEO Tara MacDougall, who highlighted the museum’s accomplishments and emphasized the importance of continued donations, noting that deeply appreciated local and state funding covers only a small share of annual expenses. Auctioneer Jay Cash opened the program with his traditional “Heads or Tails” game, followed by a lively auction and appeals for pledges at several levels. The evening raised essential funds to help sustain the Discovery Center’s excellence and lasting impact in the community.
