Welcome to May!!! The last school month of the year is arguably the most hectic, but also full of class parties, picnics and all things “fun.” Even with the busy schedules, we hope you can find a moment to enjoy our latest VIP Murfreesboro Magazine.

Our VIProfile features Tiah and Ed Grimes, founders of the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission. Their heart for helping the homeless and goal to restore lives is inspirational and impactful. We know you are going to love learning about their efforts to further their reach and impact our community.
Ransom Jones and his woodworking serve as this month’s VIP Home feature. Wren and Ransom, who call Lascassas home, have built a life rooted in family, friends and lasting memories. Ransom’s passion for woodworking began in his childhood and has grown into a lifelong pursuit, reflected in the care and detail he brings to every piece. His story offers a glimpse into the dedication and artistry behind truly handcrafted work.

In our Live & Shop Local section, you’ll discover a mix of new businesses making their mark in Murfreesboro alongside many staple businesses that we all know and love. These stories serve as a reminder of how meaningful it is to support our local economy.

Our event pages showcase some of Murfreesboro’s standout gatherings along with a few you’ll want to add to your calendar in the years ahead. Inside, you’ll find highlights from Charity Circle’s Duck Ball, Mindful Care’s Mindful Games and the Domestic Violence’s Show Your Till campaign. We hope you enjoy reading about the incredible impact our local nonprofits are making each and every day.

We truly love what we do, and we hope that it shows in our pages.
