The Boys and Girls Clubs of Rutherford County recently celebrated 40 years of service to the youth and families and of local community. Over four decades, the organization has helped thousands of young people build academic skills, develop healthy lifestyles, explore career opportunities and discover their potential.
“For 40 years, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Rutherford County has been a place where young people have found encouragement, opportunity and a sense of belonging,” said Executive Director Sheryl Chesnutt. She continued, “We are incredibly grateful for everyone who has been part of our story, and we look forward to continuing to make an impact for generations to come.”
The morning celebration included breakfast, coffee and an opportunity for guests to reflect on the club’s impact and look ahead to the next 40 years.
