5th Annual Firefly's Supper

The Fifth Annual Doors of Hope’s Firefly Supper recently took place at the Fountains of Gateway in Murfreesboro. With cocktails on the verandah and dinner inside at beautifully decorated tables, the unique event brought together local chefs for a “farm to table” dining experience providing delicious food and fellowship while spreading awareness about the Doors of Hope mission. This evening’s chefs included Mitchell Murphree, Five Senses & Steakhouse Five, Michael DeChirico, Willie Mackey, and Tom Goodner, AdamsPlace Independent Living, Michael O’Bannon, retired pastor, and Jack Barakat, Milano II and Jack’s Place. The meal was served by the students from Blackman High School’s Culinary Arts Department.

The Firefly Supper highlights the Doors of Hope mission, which is to strengthen our community by offering support services to women recently released from incarceration who are making the difficult transition back to societal life.
