The Lane Agri Park Community Center was buzzing with people celebrating a better life. They gathered for the 10th Annual Rutherford Recover Fest organized by the Prevention Coalition for Success.

Live entertainment was provided by artists Kelly Wayne, Jarrett O’Shields and Gavin Davenport. Community resources to counseling support groups, and inpatient and outpatient care were provided at over 40 booths. Free food, men’s haircuts, women’s beauty and clothing resources, flu shots and Nathan distribution were also provided. Educational panels discussion focused on topics like youth in recover and community support.

Recovery Fest is a free, family-friend event designed to end the stigma surround mental health and substance use disorder, while celebrating hope, healing and long-term recovery.
