Local author Johannah Mackin just published The Inheritance, a book about her great-great grandfather, famous evangelist and hymnwriter J Wilbur Chapman.
Johannah will be signing copies of her book at Christian Publishers Outlet in Murfreesboro on Saturday, January 26th from 1:00-2:00 pm.
He wrote the beloved hymns One Day and Our Great Savior and partnered with Dwight L. Moody in the early 1900's to preach the gospel all over the world. His legacy lives on in Johannah and she's woven her own story into his. The Inheritance is an inspiring work, one that will challenge readers to dig into their own past and find the places of loss where God showed up.
