Fleet Feet Murfreesboro announces the 10th Annual Frosty Fun Run to be held Saturday December 8, 2018 at the Stones River Country Club. This event will benefit CASA of Rutherford County and Parks Christmas for the Children.
The untimed run will take place beginning at 7:00 AM along the cart paths of the golf course behind the clubhouse. Participants can run along the entire cart path (slightly more than 4 miles) or can complete just half (approximately 2 miles) of the course.
Entry fees are $35 per runner or $125 for a family of 4. Price increases 12/7 to $40. For every unwrapped gift, participants can earn 2 raffle tickets. All toys, as well as race proceeds, will be donated to Rutherford County children who will not receive Christmas gifts without the generosity of this community.
Following the event, participants will enjoy coffee, hot chocolate, and waffles along with giveaways and the judging of the "decorate your own race bib" contest. Winners will receive wonderful prizes!
This is a great opportunity for families as well as runners and walkers of all shapes, sizes and abilities to get a little exercise and help children in need. Pictures with Santa will be available.
