Welcome to the May issue, bursting with the vibrant energy of spring and a celebration of our incredible community! As the days get longer and the world seems to bloom anew, so too does the calendar of social events that bring us together.

This month, we've got something for everyone in our event coverage. See competitive spirits get loose at trivia nights, where bragging rights and a hefty donation to a local charity are on the line! For the art aficionado, a formal art show including a dazzling display of local talent. And of course, no May would be complete without the ever-popular golf tournament, where a day of friendly competition on the green translates into vital support for a worthy cause.

Beyond the glitz and glam of these major events, this issue shines a light on the heart and soul of our community: our local businesses. In our "Live & Shop Locally" feature, we delve into the stories of inspiring entrepreneurs who not only drive our local economy, but also contribute to the social fabric of our city. These are the people who dedicate their passion and energy to creating unique shops, cafes and services that enrich our lives. Their dedication to their craft is as impressive as their commitment to giving back. Get ready to be inspired by their stories!

As always, we encourage you to get involved. Attend an event, support a local business and be a part of the positive change that makes our community thrive. Together, we can turn good intentions into real impact.

Wishing you a joyous May filled with connection, laughter and the joy of giving back!

Warmly,

-Carrie Beth Catron
