“Gather Around the Table” is one of the three sessions for the Saint Thomas Rutherford Ambassadors Taste of the Holidays, presented by Lori Sain Smith of Daffodilly Design.
Featuring the Nashville-based Hester & Cook, this presentation is all about traditions, either those shared by your family for many years or the establishment of new ones.
Lori has partnered with Hester & Cook for many years in event planning and styling, as their line includes a boutique kitchen paper line featuring patterned table runners, napkins, stationery and much more. The elegant papers and fresh decor mix well with any tabletop pieces to create festive, memorable and easy tables for holiday celebrations. Several tables will be set for unique dining experiences for all ages, including “Christmas Morning Magic,” “Blue Christmas,” and “Deck the Halls Dinner.”
Lori shares ways to tailor holiday designing to represent the personality of the host, the traditions of the family while blending with the style and spirit of the home. The most incredible decorations of the home can begin with the simplicity of fresh greenery, berries and florals. Mixing fun patterns of linens, dishes and glassware in a coordinated effort can set the tone for great conversations as people gather around the table.
Enjoy holiday cheer and fellowship to support the Saint Thomas Medical Partners – Saint Louise Family Medicine Center on Monday, November 6th from 5:30 TO 8:00 P.M. at the Oakleigh homes of Julie Zubkus, Jennifer Connelly and Lissa Young.
