Junior League of Murfreesboro
With the holidays right around the corner, you can get all of your gift shopping done in one place. The Junior League of Murfreesboro is hosting their 12th annual Hollyday Marketplace on Saturday, December 3rd, from 9am to 5pm at Tennessee Miller Coliseum on Thompson Lane in Murfreesboro. This year’s event will have more than 110 vendors with home décor items, clothing, and seasonal crafts. We wanted to “spotlight” some local small businesses that are guaranteed to get you in the holiday spirit!
MoonDog Handmade Goods will be your “go-to” for small batch, artisan goods handmade right here in Murfreesboro. Their soy candles, room sprays, and natural soaps are created from pure essential oils and premium, phthalate-free fragrances. Naturally freshen your home with the seasonal scents of “Cinnamon Chai Latte,” “Blue Spruce Tree,” “Spiced Mulberry,” and many more! Owner, Heather Dowdy, creates handcrafted home décor and handmade “Murfreesboro, Tennessee: Home Sweet Home” tile coasters. Every item is created, labeled, and packaged by hand.
Stroll by Cherry Tree Lane Gifts & Just Be Cuz for your smaller home décor items and stocking stuffers. These boutiques will have seasonal items including personalized signs, tea towels, pillows, and more!
You won’t want to miss the custom designs from JCL Metals. This family owned business specializes in customized signs for your home. Decorate the outside of your home with a monogramed snowman for your front door or a family named “welcome sign” you can display in your lawn.
For one-of-a-kind, reclaimed wood home décor items, you’ll want to stop by the booths of The Oak Shed and Briar’s Patch. These local companies offer unique crafts that have been designed and hand painted in the heart of Murfreesboro. Find special gifts and holiday décor at their Hollyday booths, or have owner, Lee Ann Richardson of The Oak Shed or Leah Richards of Briar’s Patch, customize a special gift just in time for Christmas!
